Join Our Church
We’re so glad you are considering church membership. There are several reasons why church membership is important. The most obvious reason is that it allows you to be a full participant in church-related business – primarily, you can vote on church issues in business meetings. But the most significant meaning of membership is that it symbolizes a deeper level of commitment between you and our church. You have committed to joining in our shared life together more intentionally and we have committed to integrating you into our fold. We are excited you are considering this and we look forward to walking together in the future.
There are three main ways to join our church:
- Baptism – If you have not confessed Jesus as Lord and been baptized before, this would be the first step. We ask that you fill out the membership form on this page, select “Baptism” in the dropdown and begin talking with our pastor about that decision. Once you are baptized, you will be accepted as a full member of our church.
- Transfer of Letter – If you have made a confession of faith, been baptized and your membership is at another church, we ask that you fill out the membership form on this page and select “Transfer of Letter” in the dropdown. This will allow us to communicate with your former church, letting them know you wish to move your membership.
- Statement of Faith – This is in some ways a “catch all.” If you have made a confession of faith, been baptized and been a member of another church, but for some reason that church no longer exists or is unreachable in one way or another, this would be the option for you. Just select “Statement of Faith” in the dropdown and click submit.
Please note that all requests for membership must be voted on in business meeting, which happens once per quarter.
